Does anyone use this service? As I understand it is alot like PayPal but it does not look like there are fees unless you use a credit card. Debit cards and payments from your bank account do not incur fees. I am considering this as one option to collect the amp build money. I think PayPal may balk w...

Re: 2018 Carverfest Tube Power Amplifier Build

There will be a fixed number of kits, and we want them all to get homes. But when they're gone, that's it – no more. The following list is correct, as best I can make it, at this moment. There are a few extra kits, and several forum guys whose claim to buy an amp was pretty weak are on a 'contingen...

Platinum Speaker Models

I have a lead on a pair of Platinums or at least that is what the buyer is calling them. One ribbon is pretty much destroyed so I can get them cheap. They have one pair of binding posts. The owner says he does not remember what the woofers look like since he has not taken them apart or used them in ...

Re: !!! Forum Updated to the Latest Software !!!

I don't like the lighter theme much. But if I leave it, I never have to mess with it in the future. And if we try to change it, it will be a never ending game of cat and mouse as the software updates, and the themes lag behind. I agree !!! 10x better now on my phone than it used to be. I have not b...

My Son's System

Lately to make room for new toys, I have been "loaning" out my gear to family. My oldest daughter has my M500t MKII, BillD C1 tuner and CD player with a pair of SIlvers. My sister that many met at CF2015 has a M1.0t, C1, TX11 and CD player with a pair of CF Speakers. The picture below is a system I ...

I am not opposed to this in general. However, from my perspective, I look at the expense of our annual Low Country Boil as a gift to my CF Friends.

Re: Carverfest Cabin Reservation "Hierarchy" Updates

I am begging all to just give it a rest. It appears to me that James and others are addressing the concerns that have been raised. The slope that we are on is a slippery one that has the potential to do irreparable damage to the CarverFest family.
