I am envious. It looks GREAT and I hope sounds better.
The only problem I see, is the small TV. I have a 55' in my bedroom.

Yeah, a larger TV that will more than likely be my next buy, however it'll be awhile. This TV is a 46" but the cabinet is 65" long, so it makes the TV look smaller. I've been thinking about putting this one in the bedroom and getting a larger one for the HT set up. Right now though, money is getting tight after all I spent on the sound equipment!

I wanted a big TV and 3D TV so I got a Mitsubishi 73 inch at Best Buy BRAND NEW for $1199 & its a 09 model - I have watched Aliens vs Monsters and Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs in 3D so far and it AWESOME!!! You need a 3D box from Mitsubishi for $99 and some XpanD 3D shutter glasses to get it to work but the end result is worth it! There was a 82 inch screen but it was $3999 and I am happy with a 73" plus I have a Projector and a 110" screen.

Your system is AWESOME and the money was well spent!!!

Well SHIT! Of course when I have this whole system together, a set of Polk Audio SDA SRS II speakers comes on the market here locally. And of course I had to get them! I went to look at them this evening, and will bring them home tomorrow morning. They are in beautiful condition, and are upgradeable, so I'll be doing some more work on them soon. Have to get ahold of Ben over on CP to upgrade the crossovers, plus do all the mods I did to the 2B's. It never ends does it???

I picked them up this morning. They are monsters! Weigh 135 lbs each! I'll hook them up this weekend, and take a listen. I've already contacted Ben over on CP to do the TL upgrade to the crossovers, and I'll have to get new tweeters from Polk Audio. That's the end for me on speakers! These are plenty big enough, and the wife would have a heart attack if I got even bigger ones!!

Installed the new SRS 2 speakers and gave them a few hours listening. Not as impressed with them as with the SDA 2Btl's. Now comes the rebuild on these. New tweeters, upgraded crossovers, and a few other polk tweaks should make them sing. They are huge!

Those SRS 2's have a big sound stage and sound presents. Congrats I would pull them out to the front of the entertainment rack. Better imaging.

You know I think the same thing, but on CP, people always say to keep them close to the rear wall, or you will have funky bass. I'll do some experimentation, and see how it works. Thanks for the suggestion.

I always believe that the owners ears know best. My suggestion is because I found the depth of the image to be too shallow against the wall but I would have better depth of sound stage off the wall. CP is where I reside also. engtaz here and there. Congrats

Today I finally can listen to my vinyl collection again! Been a long time in the making. The Dual CS 714Q is now hooked up, and I've been listening to some LP's. The first one I listened to is Dire Straits BIA. The CD I bought back when it first came out always had a shrill sound in some passages. The analog version is IMHO much better. A lot more smooth.. Well anyway, I'm having fun listening to vinyl again after all these years. Also having a lot of fun cleaning records!

98% of what I listen to is vinyl. I think there is something missing in CD's even though I own about 600 of them.

This is what I'm struggling with now. Pull them out or leave them back. I use a sub and the SMS-1 so the bass might not be such an issue. I'm still getting a good soundstage but the wall they are on is 15 feet wide. Right now they are 7 inches off the wall. I just moved them back tonight. They were about 12-13 inches off. Can't really do any listening right now to hear the effect.
