new to site

Hello, This is slidero8, first time here, grew up in the 70's 80's and always remember drooling over the pictures of Carver Equiptment in the magazines. Finally bought a 6250 receiver and was so impressed by the sound. It was like a moment of clarity when comparing it to the Yamaha I had been running. I ordered a m500t and a C1 which should arrive Monday. I have Technics Towers and Infinity sl-40's, saving for some Klipsch to handle the power. I also run a vintage bsr 3000 eq and Dual TT. Anyways I have spent the last couple months reading what I can about Carver and hope this is not to long winded. I will get the hang of the site soon enough. Thanks.....Slidero8(jeff)

Welcome!! You got yourself a nice Carver setup, I always liked the m-500, warm sound and big meters. You should hold out for a pair of Klipsch Forte II or Chorus II, top of the Klipsch food chain IMO.
