Or...my favorite (and helps justify so much time spent here!): I'm "fixing" it for a forum member! She nevers remembers (or cares) to question why it never gets fixed and returned!

50 posts huh... Well I have been reading here for a week or two and found a place I couldn't get to, super deals. Never knew about a post thing on that but ok. I just love the crowd here and LOL sometimes at what I read. I admit I grew up all about music. My little record player I was hooked on when I was 8 or 9. Military brat in Germany I used to go to the library and check out albums. All sortsa stuff. Back stateside I was given a Blaupunkt huge ass console with a tuner from hell. My fave was KSHE 95. Sometimes I surfed the AM MW and all the other bands it had. Taught myself all about antennae. Next I resurrected my dad's Sansui A707 reciever he had blown up during one of his social events (many) It took new transistors is all. That blew him away and I got to keep it with his old Coral coax speakers. Part time jobs fed my fever and I went thru a slew of eq, cassette and turntables. Sundown one (still alive) had Macintosh hooked up to Klipschhorns and that was my dream but out of my reach. Joined the army as field radio repairer went back to Germany where I got my first Carver reciever in 84 along wiith Klipsch KG 2's, Teac X2000R, SL-D2 TT, Akai cassette, and my first cd player that quickly junked out. All that's been replaced by what I'm currently running. Hah, coulda got 50 outta that, lmao!!! Mike

this is a fun thread as all know I prove often I don't know much.
I suspect most of the new posters are hit and run guys - too bad.

I have found that once you read here for a few weeks and begin to understand the 'secure personalities' here, you will return to hook up with all your new friends. I believe this forum is unique, not just for the expertise, but for the friendship. Hell, I am even gaining respect for those Oregon guys. They remind me of Harry Reid, but they don't back down.

You are right that this is a very good forum to be on. I just wish I found it years ago.

I wish I found it years ago, too. Now that I've found it, I am glad to be a part of it.
