WTB - Platinum 60" Ribbons or complete speakers

Hey!

Looking for non-buzzing 60" ribbon or a pair of ribbons.

Would also consider a complete pair of speakers if within sensible driving range of WI 54209 (500 mile round-trip).

I know, who isn't looking for a non-buzzing pair of 60" ribbons

What I basically said in my email was that I really don't have a specific budget in mind. I bought the speakers at a low price and planned to hold out for another set appearing on Craigslist, so I could do some interchanging of parts. But nothing has appeared within driving distance in the last 6 weeks or so, and I'm getting a bit impatient. But I have no idea what they're worth. I've seen the speakers on craigslist between $250 and $1500, who knows what condition they're in and who knows their real market value?
So just let me know please what you're looking for $ and we can go from there..

I believe the cost to refurbish a pair of these ribbons is around $1000. Good luck to you both!

I also tried to contact the fellow who offers rebuilds on these, but never heard back, so rightly or wrongly I'm assuming that service is defunct?

Don't know how this got by, sorry to say the least. As mentioned i have a set of 60 inch ribbons ready to ship. The speakers have been serviced/rebuilt so no worries there. My concern is shipping. I bought a set myself and they did not survive the trip, although they were not as well packaged as the ones i have now. Where are you located? I also have the woofers as well. New.
