Bob Carver's Cherry 180's!

Did anyone here order a set of Bob's cherry 180's amps while at Carverfest 2010?

Hey Brian do you have any photo's of your amps frount and back pics you can upload here!
Second Brian what were the tubes you had in your amps?

So you have a Black one being built. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

The tubes I am using are Shuguang Treasure 'Black Bottle' KT88-Z, I purchased them from James.

We are on the way out for the day, will upload pics tomorrow.

What are the dimensions on the transformer covers. HxWxD???

I still need to fabricate them and the bottom cover....

I've been curious about transformer covers for some time. In the M-500 days, the field coils had covers which were dispensed with on the M-500ts (except for some very early ones, one which I worked on).

Are the covers just decorative or do they shield EMI? In other words, is the composition of the cover important to the functioning of the amplifier?
It should sound like it isn't there!
There is a difference between hearing and listening...
