Yeah, the thread over at the Polk forum got deleted as well. Followed by a PM to me from the mods... :rolleyes
Apparently, talking about audio on and audio forum is a bad thing on some forums. Thank God it ain't like that here!

In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.
The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

I'm normally very laid back but these assholes from other forums are starting to piss me off. Are they really interested in good music?

I was only halfway joking when I made the Atkinson comment.
Although I was incredibly pissed off about them closing thread #2.
Polk too?
What
The
Fuck?
Does anyone have an honest theory (not clouded with frustration) as to what is actually going on?
Is Bob really this hated?
Although the discussions seemed somewhat contentious, I thought Bob was handling everything spectacularly.
And out comes the plug and the screen winks out into a dot.

It seems to me we spend an inordinate amount of time talking about politics, conspiracy theories, petty personal issues between members and personal tastes, and precious little time talking about our hobby. The early part of this thread is an exception, of course, but, as you can see, it has diverged tangentially into something totally different. It seems that most threads stay on topic for about 5 posts and then diverge.
