Did you try your CF amp on your ribbons yet?

Just hooked mine up and it sounds pretty damned good.

Even with 3 crap tubes and one Telefunken.

Didn't see that coming. Little amp #25's got some azz.

Kinda afraid it's going to burst into flame at any moment since I built it.

Any other bi-ampers out there try them on ribbons yet?

i was thinking about it. 60" ribbons have a 4.3 ohm resistive load. i did not seek the advice of the bobfather but i will say if it can drive the new line source speakers, then mine is nothing.

With bridging, don't you run the + of one channel to the + of the speaker and the +of the other to the -? (It's cool if that's wrong, please correct me.)

With these, you're connecting the +s together.
