I'll chime in now. You got my attention.

I started to try the cables out by taking thme out of the plastic bag.

I then cleared both side of my cabinet by taking all the LP's out so I could lay on my back & see the back of my amp & pre.

What I saw taught me this: NO way are those cables going in. there just isn't enough clearance behind the amp for them. They stick out a cpople of inched and that space is just not there.

If/when I redo the HT setup & pull all the gear out I will try them.

So that is where I am .

Hey Frankie, Sorry you are having trouble with the length of the connectors. I do have a shorter Vampire Wire RCA, which is made for coax, that will work with analog IC's. I hate the thought you can't use the IC's because of the connector length issue. If you want to have me switch them out, let me know and I'll do it for free. Here is a photo showing the length difference. The connector I'd use is this one: http://www.vampirewire.com/viewitem.php?productid=8 Let me know if you think this would help.

This is hard to say and I'm sure I will get some not so good feedback for it but if you won these cables and have no intention of using them or at least letting Doug know what you think of them in the near future please send them back to Doug to roadshow. He was kind enough to GIVE these away to get some good feedback and possibly sell some to other people. To let them go to waste is not appropriate. You know who you are....

OK, in case anyone missed this post: viewtopic.php?f=128&t=17657&p=180861#p180861

Cut and Paste: My TFM-75 is at Rolland's for a re-cap. When I get it back, I will insert the cables into that 2 channel system. My HT system is built into the wall and would be a major job to replace cables there. In addition, the cables would be co-mingled with another set in the HT set-up instead of being a stand alone pair in the 2 channel system.

Believe I already thanked Doug in another thread. However, just in case, thank you Doug. Don't want either the King or Frankie after me! ](*,)

Don...I respect that... I know Mike is pulling cables in his home...,Frankie cant't get them to fit, you are awaiting your 75....I know if I gave away $2000 worth of cables , I would at least expect some feedback. All silence does is slgnal that these kind of Karma events should not occur.....Doug is looking to get his business up and running and to ignore that is...well....the nail in the coffin. I personally know I appreciate his generosity and I would expect anyone that has received something for nothing to do the same. Maybe too many beers tongiht but what the heck.
