The auction states they have used their last output transformer pair, so this appears to be the last set. It's possible this pair will go at a high price if they are indeed the last. Good luck, Brian. But you never know what Bob has up his sleeve.

I'm confused? Is this legit or another scam? Did you note Bob Carver warning at the bottom > MORE FRAUD ALERT: Maybe it is a trusted seller, don't know :-k

I bet this is Bob's amp.

I saw the same thing he did about a month ago. Someone was trying to sell an amp with his pic's saying that it was one of his amps.

Unless the account was hi-jacked? It's Bob.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

I MIGHT be. The problem I see with that is "shipping risk". Say 5 folks do the group buy; draw straws to determine the order of use; on say the 3rd shipping it is damaged beyond reasonable repair; guys 3, 4, 5 get "screwed" and never get to experience the amp's great sound! I think you'd need some kind of agreement that says 1) how long each member gets to keep before "revolving" the amp to the next guy 2) In the event of shipping damage, everyone "downstream" of the damage is refunded their share of the "buy" by those who DID get to hear it 3)What method used to determine the order of who gets to have the amp 1st, 2nd, etc.? Perhaps an unequal amount per group member: he who pays the larger share gets 1st crack, 2nd highest 2nd crack at it, etc.? 4) an "end game" plan: perhaps after one "loop" thru each group member, one (or more) members agree to buyout the the other members (who for whatever reason) no longer desire to own a piece of the amp; or members agree to ebay the amp after one loop....

Shipping damage is VERY common......it is abig risk/expense. I guess each shipping could be insured, but that gets to be expensive as well!
