Amen to rainman's comments. I'm so tired of Circuit City and Best Buy stereos. I had a friend yesterday tell me that his Infinity 5.1 stereo-in-a-box system is so much better than my "1980's museum piece".

My rig is from the late 1970's to current decade. It's 2.0, maybe 2.1 one of these days, and I will never go 5.1 nor will I buy anything from a big box store. And I try to stay away when that stereo-in-a-box is on.

This is my third post. I have to say I'm glad I've found a forum with people that don't live in the Best Buy world.

Well, tadman, never say never. After you've heard SACD in 5.1, you might change your mind.
It should sound like it isn't there!
There is a difference between hearing and listening...

The Sensible Sound is still around, and a damn good mag at that. =D> 8)
