Every members have asked around and tried with many methods to get this Carver woofer re-cone without any success.

this statement says it all, I am excited to hear this, since we ALL have been lookin for these, we/I just need the details....
you told us in your post above, we like to hear about a good out come to a big problem of no surrounds.
the price I put out was not a slam, just a fact of statement as to price.

I was not mocking or attacking your new source. The point I was trying to make is that there are many suppliers out there of foam surrounds. I am questioning the process of determining that these are the closest to original?
And yes I am desperate enough at this point and I am ordering some to test them. If they are, then I might just owe you that beer.

When I asked for the 24 in the email she was apprehensive about the quantity. So I lowered it to my silvers 6 that are dead. I did not inquire further except to ask her to contact me when 18 more would not be an issue.

Am glad that finally you got your surrounds too.
How do they fit yours?
I used an italian glue for paper cone for mine.
Not sure what would be the equivalent in the US.
Let us know what you find.
