490 t face plate

Post by wrstps » Thu Apr 21, 2011 1:36 pm

Anyone have a face plate with the screw tabs on the battom intact? I have a second 490t that I would like to bring back to life and this one has the screw tabs on the bottom broken.

Might try some Plastic Weld to either re-attach the tabs or mold some new ones and then drill/tap them....(or if metal use J.B. Weld). If they don't show it might be ok...

Go to your "User Control Panel" at the top of the page, then click "Board preferences" on the left, then where it says "My board style:", choose "Subsilver - Plus". You will then be able to read the forum like a normal person.
Political Correctness...defined

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

In a recent press conference, President Obama remarked, "If I had a city, it would look just like Detroit."
