Snoop I thought your looked really good. The hardest part was just getting started with the project....lol

We added the green wire as the ground and went straight to the chassis with it.

The 490t back plate comes right off unlike the Sunfire. Making it alot easier to cut the hole.

Modded 490t on top and stock 490t under it. The bottom one is an earlier model with no plastic guards inside to protect someone from getting shocked. Hence the extra warning label.

The preamp mod made a very nice difference in musical detail. I plugged the phono preamp and turntable into the back of the Sunfire so they would be getting their power thru the Furutech cable. This worked really nice and lowered the noise floor on the phono stage, quite considerable I might add....

But it was in the CD player where I noticed the most difference. Maybe because two cables are in the system now??.. Im not sure. One things for sure the noise floor is gone and the extra detail scared me a couple times as I would hear things in the recording I never heard before.

Very nice Job Eric!! Of course you are a professional, so you make stuff like this look easy. Glad those Furutech IEC's and power cables made the improvements you mentioned. Furutech does make some great stuff!
