1st. McDonald's 1948 in California

Couple pictures of the 1st. McDonald's California 1948

Anyone see Frankie D. in the Employee picture since he was the only one on this forum around in that timeframe? :lol: :lol:

Would have guessed Frankie D as the guy not in the photo, but in the kitchen jumping as the greese popping from the deep fryer gave him a charge.

My Boy Scout Troop took a trip to the big city to see a wresting show with "Big Bill Ward" and The Great Bolo.
What I remember most was stopping at the McDonald's. Those cheap frys were the best thing I had ever eaten. I spent my entire dollar on them.
