Douglas Connection Speaker Cable Road Show

OK Guys and Gals. I'll be sending out the speaker cables today, along with a couple of sets of jumpers for those who need bi-wire.
The speaker cables are these, with These Banana connectors and These Spade connectors

The two sets of jumpers are there for those of you who Bi-Wire, or use jumpers on your speakers. I'm very interested to hear opinions on these jumpers, and the differences between the silver/copper hybrid ones and the 12 AWG copper ones. There are 2 pair of each type.

Please audition the cables for 2 weeks, then send to the next person on the list. Please ship with tracking number and insure for $400. In the box you will find an accessory pack with polishing cloths and deoxit wipes. Please use what you need and send the rest on to the next participant.

The banana plugs on these speaker cables are made of copper,
and I thought it might be a good idea to pass along some tips on
using them. I'd appreciate if those on the road show would follow
these tips.

Caution!
Tips for Inserting and Using Furez TST
Banana Connectors.
Furez Tensioned Split Tube Banana connectors, made of copper,
are the best connectors on the market today. However, since
copper is softer than brass and many other metals, using copper
connectors requires some care and caution. Otherwise they
may bend or break off.

Inserting Banana Plugs into Your Binding Posts.
· The plugs are made with very close tolerance
and will fit very snugly. So it’s best to insert the plugs straight
into the binding posts.
· We also suggest using Deoxit Gold on the plug when
inserting it. It adds a little lubrication and helps the plug slide
in more easily.

Speaker Cable Weight:
These banana plugs will not support the weight of the speaker
cables if they are stretched out without adequate support.
Please make sure the cable is supported by something other
than the banana plug itself.

Failure to do these things
could cause the plugs to bend, and possibly break off.
