Off to see Mark Knopfler

Post by BrianT » Mon Jul 22, 2013 5:28 pm

As I am a real big fan of Mark Knopfler, I purchased 4 tickets to one of his show on the current 2013 tour.

The tickets are for Friday 25th July, in Madrid Spain. Pat and I fly out Tuesday from Ottawa and arrive in Madrid Wednesday morning. (thank god its business class flights)
We are going to meet up with Pats brother and his wife, who both life in Dudley England. We are both looking forward to this family reunion.

As MK records all his European shows, and are available for purchase on a USB stick, I have placed an order for that show and will be making a few copies for
distribution at CF13 for those that are interested. (pls let me know)
After we leave Madrid, we will be doing some self touring (driving) in Spain and then onto to Paris, after Paris it Brussels and then back home on the 9th Aug.

Sounds Great Brian. I have never seen MK. Should be a great concert. Be safe and enjoy! So what do we need to bring to Carverfest to get a copy?

Not in, but thanks, Brian!

Mark Knopfler is great. I remember an interview with him years ago where he stated Chet Atkins was a huge influence on his guitar playing.

Enjoy the concert & your trip!
