Hey Chris- how did you fare finding out about how serious your stepdaughter is into gaming? A desktop will give you more options to upgrade in the future-

So true!!! I built my PC in 2007 and kept upgrading over the years and it is still a great performer. I changed the processor (Intel q6600 to qx6850) ,windows XP to windows 7 , 4 gigs of ram to 8 gigs of ram, 400 gig 7200 rpm to a 600 gig 10,000 rpm drive and added 2 1tb drives for storage.
