Greg Allman in Concert

Just returned from seeing Greg Allman in Concert. His son Devin was the undercard. Devon and his band played classic "bluesy rock." You could tell where his roots came from. Very good artist with typical Allman talent. Played for 45 minutes.

Next up Greg and his band. He has not lost a beat, albeit a number of pounds though. Still smooth voice, great on piano and guitar. Played all the favorites. His supporting band is also very talented. Sax player was awesome as well as Keys and drummer. All and all one of the finer concerts we have been to. If an Allman Brother fan, a must see. Greg played about 1.5 hours.

Darn - 18th sold out already at Spivey Hall....
Supposed to be world renowned for their acoustics according to the article. Never been, but will try to in the future!

Thanks Don!

Too bad it was sold out Dan. I encourage all Allman fans to check Tour schedule and catch this concert. It was a goody.
