Are you aiming that comment at me?

I'm pretty sure it was aimed at Z

That was completely uncalled for, Harry.

I know & have met Zumbini (Dom), broke bread with him at tinpan's house this past year & had a great time. He's basically a good guy, I think just parroting what he thinks was said. I hold no ill will against him, you shouldn't, either.

What would be the point of a discussion Martin?
Rod and Gary both asked to have their accounts deleted.
Rich just gave them what they asked for.

I suspect Gary would be welcome to return as well.

It's disappointing to hear that Zumbini would trade away his ethics in order to joing the propagandists in telling the Big Lie. I always thought that Dom was above that. Maybe something bad happens to your brain when you become a moderator there.

At any rate, what we should recognize is that this is an example of how propagandists work to achieve their goals: They delete all of your posts, so that there is no record of what actually happened. You're not there to tell your side of the story, so they just continue to recite their version of the events over and over again until everyone believes them.

It doesn't matter whether or not they are telling the truth. All that matters is that they are on the same page, and that they are unified in telling their side of the story. Right now Snow and Zumbini continue to recite that your posts are gone because you requested that they be deleted. It doesn't matter if it's the truth or not, it BECOMES the truth. They repeat it over and over again until their thought is the only thing that is remembered in anyone's mind. There is no written record to the contrary, it has been purged. And you aren't there to call them liars. The result is that there is nobody there to challenge their story, and history is revised.

It's like reading Pravda.
