The 6DJ8/6922 story

Those of you parsing all the varieties/offshoots of this tube in search of the holy grail, you should certainly go through this excellent article on the tube, which not only gives the history, but even includes harmonic distortion results of a huge variety of the tube, and then also listening comments.

Pages 3 through 9. Details that make the Stereophile equipment reviews look like 8 year old's book reports.

When laying out bucks on this tube, this article should be a constant companion.

Good read! They used Klipsch Chorus Ones as test speakers which are very similar to what I'm using now.

What part of "you won't have this tube in your stock" and "low gain" should I explain?

I just enjoyed the read on the 6DJ8 last night and thought about all of those breed you guys have floating around and the bucks for them....
