Hammer Time

Post by hewlew1 » Fri Mar 02, 2018 4:02 pm

We up north are getting hammered big time. Most of the roads are closed and no one can get anywhere. I am stuck at the one house and my wife is at the other. Blizzard conditions with near zero driving visability. 12 inches now and more in drifted areas with another 10 to 14 yet to come when I just checked. Bring on the power outages that's about all that's left.

Stay warm! We have nothing but wind gusts up to 70 mph here in Baltimore!

We had no school today, lots of trees down, power went out 2x briefly!

Harry that does not sound good, glad i'm not in it.

We get some shit weather up here in The Great White North (Canada)
But not too often blizzard conditions, the worst we have had in the last 3 years was 23 inch in 24 hrs, and it stopped
48 hrs later we had another 20 inches.

Anyhow i'm out it al for a bit, catch a flight on Saturday to Singapore for a start of a 2 week vacation.

Well it is over we got 2 feet of snow with drifts in excess of 3 feet. I finally made ot to the new house where my wife is today but that included backing up on roadways that are still closed because of the abandoned vehiclws. Had to take the roundabout way but made it.
