Platinum tipped over and busted it's ribbon

That top heavy SOB got a little bump from a party guest and fell over flat on it's face and destroyed the 60" ribbon. . .
I'm currently at a loss as to what course to take. Either spend the BIG BUCKS and try and locate a replacement ribbon, or take it apart and use the woofers as a bass rig for a guitar amp and the good speaker as a center channel in my theater. I have Tympanis in stereo and MMGs for surrounds. That 60" ribbon might be a nice center channel. (hoping to make lemonade...)
