Damn you, Wabbit! Maybe I can use my wife's credit card, or just hand over my paycheck to Carver sellers. Having a house and food is over-rated, anyway. There must be a soup kitchen somewhere nearby. #-o #-o

Well Dog, I hate to break this to you but you now need a Sunfire TGP V to control those amps and get a great HT system. That should only set you back another $2500 or so, or you could buy a brand spanking new one for about $3600. Oh yeah, You need a pair of ALS Platinums as fronts, AL-III's as rear speakers, a Sunfire center and sub. Use four of the M-500t's to bi-amp the AL-III's and the other for the center. To power the Plats you will need a pair of Silver 9t monoblocks. I guess another ten grand and you're good to go. \:D/

How's that Wabbit, doing a proper job as an assistant OCCD enabler?

I know, I've got a long way to go to catch up with some of you guys. That's a nice shopping list, maybe I could sell some plasma... :-k :-k :-k I'm sure some nice credit card company would give me a $10,000.00 limit, say for only 30% interest.

Bi-amping AL-IIIs with bridged M-500's is not ideal. Need a pair of Sunfire 600x2s vertically biamped through an active crossover
It should sound like it isn't there!

Meant to say AL-III's as sides and rears. Having three M-500t's i know they don't like to be bridged.

I'm not one to take advantage of the elderly but in this case being Carver and especially my beloved M-500t's, I must ask where she lives ? =P~ =P~ =P~
Make her a less than reasonable offer for them. I'll bet she lets them go or she has a darn grandson that's been drooling over them for years. [-o<

Print out a lower priced M-500T that sold on Epray then ask her what she would be willing to let them go for. Mention that you are a avid Carver lover and that you want them for yourself not to sell.

Good Luck

Do you mean to tell us you had 2 M500t's next door to you all this time and never knew it? Being that close, I would have smelled them long before now. \:D/

No forgiveness needed -- you must have chosen to move in to your current house because your OCCD subconscious could feel the M-500 force next door.

OCCD can be like a sixth sense -- or should that be sick-th sense? Not everyone has it, and some that do have it don't know it right away.
