So, post away, and let us know what you did THIS MONTH to be awarded the OCCD Award of the Month !!
The winner each month will have the covited title of: "OCCD Master of the Month" This title will show up as your ranking for the next month.

Novel idea old chap!

Maybe we could also have special awards for Dweeb of the Month or Biggest Pain in the Ass of the Month or Shrewdest Bargain Finder of the Month?
Why let facts or common sense get in the way of your opinions.

This month I decided to ditch my Denon HT receiver (I was using pre-outs to feed Carver M-500 amps) in favor of a Sunfire TG-IV preamp.

Probably equal parts long-time desire and 'enabling' from advice on the forum.

$1025

not a bad deal.

I also picked up a Rane PE-15 5 band parametric equalizer (I now have the required stereo pair) for the POTENTIALITY that I might someday replace my beloved Klipsch Cornwall II with ALS. In the meantime I'll get to play with the peaking/shelving bands.

$93

DIY. Nicely done.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.
