What job maxxx? I'm not doing anything compared to what you guys have been doing on here for years! I just have a big mouth that could use a like sized muffler and a mind that needs Baer brakes.

It's not the "Forum" software that is being upgraded (yet)
It is the OS on the server that is being upgraded. We are getting a totally new DELL Blade server and the upgrade is for the servers OS. But in upgrading, it will allow us to also do all the new upgrades to the forum itself. The older version of Plesk won't let us run the photo gallery and crap like that.
http://www.swsoft.com/en/products/plesk/

So, the 1st step is to get the new server up and running with the latest version of Plesk, then we will be transfering everything from the current server over the the SUPER server... thing has 6 raid harddrives, and 2 3.4GHZ processors \:D/

After that's up and running, I will start to add or maybe (replace) the forum. There are new versions of PHPBB that might be nice to upgrade to... I dono yet. I will have to look into what we're going to do when it's time.

Thanks to everyone that is/has contributem to the software fund so far !!!!

*5* Tom, I will PayPal your $100 over to the Software fund later today. THANKS !!! *5*

If you are interested in Plesk itself... here IS a demo on their website.

PayPal - Done.

Thank you for everything that you do to make CarverAudio possible for everyone! =D>

Being new around here, I have been trying to figure out who is who, who owns the site and who pays the bills, etc. Is there an organization chart, a list of who does what, a list of moderators, and a history / background bio on CarverAudio? I get the impression that it could be quite a book! If they do exist, I missed them. If they don't exist I think that it would be very helpful - and interesting.
You rang?

no, there's no official page or bio about it/us.

There have been a few postes here and there, but not all in one place.
Maybe one day when I'm bored, I'll throw something together.
