Carver HT-772 Receiver TFM

Post by dfronk » Fri Apr 04, 2014 12:29 pm

I have a question about the Carver HT-772 receiver ..... The HT-752 specs says that the amp in this receiver is a Silver Seven Transfer Function Modified (and sounds fantastic). I'm unable to find out what TFM the HT-772 receiver is. Is this a dumb question? Looking to learn .....

I do not believe this receiver amplifier section is transfer function modified to sound like the silver 7's. It does not state this in the owners manual although most of Bob's amps are voiced similarly. I'm sure that it is an ample performer though. Enjoy the music!!!
In reality, it only matters what it sounds like to YOU!!!
