I'm in the market for the Sunefire Theater Grand III, but what puzzles me is I read excellent reviews on prior Carver models, ie Theater Grand II, yet I see a lot of them for sale. I for one appreciates Bob's design approach, bringing high-end audio quality with a reasonable price. I would love to own Krell, McIntosh and others, but I simply cannot afford them. Sunfire offers a decent alternative under Bob's direction, however I have read a couple reviews that somewhat slam the price to performance factor, but I am uncertain if the points are all that relevant. Bob's designs continue to give quite a bit for the price, and for all the good I seem to read about, I cannot figure out for the life of me why people are selling their units.
If anyone knows of any reasons why people are selling their units or what dealers are saying about Sunfire, I would love to hear what you are hearing.
