No clue what he's replacing the original material with but it WILL NOT sound right, that I can guarantee.

As soon as we are able to find a new supplier, we will be back to repairs. Just have to be patient.

has anyone any knowledge as to this guy claiming he studied a few years how to fix the ribbons, and now claims he uses kapton ...
