I would hope not! He!! I can't hear the phone right now, playing some Tool with the peaks at 0db and starting my third long island ice tea. I kinda have my own fest going on. PARTY ON GUYS!!

No but I would love to.
We have a hard time getting big ticket bands here locally, which sucks. We have a great local venue called "The Brady Theater" it was built in 1927 for un-amplified performances and has the best acoustics I have ever heard. But it only seats 2800 and is hard to book big bands there. The last two bands I seen there was Godsmack (acoustic) and Disturbed, the SQ was, the place is amazing.

BD. travel to see em. last 5 times they were within a 1/2 days road trip ive made the journey(including twice within 1 week this summer). awsome performance.
the rig they were traveling with on the 10,000 days tour made others pale in contrast. only band i ever saw live that was better was the original Black Sabbath reunion 5 years ago.

I just got off the phone with Tom, Max and James. Damn sorry I couldn't make it this year. Tom says that James' speakers shake the ground 25 feet away from the cabin......

Made it back to Ohio last night.

Took the slow way back through the Smokies.
Forgot how beautiful that area is. It was well worth the slow down.

Got the M500t fired back up this morning. Feels like I'm listening through a boom box though.

I think I'm experiencing Wall of Sound withdrawl.

Looking forward to next year.

Thall, Rabbit, thanks for taking time away from the party to post photos for all of us that weren't able to attend.

I've got about 15 or 20 pics to post too, but I took them all in hi-res RAW format, so they are HUGE--I need to PhotoShop them down a little before posting them. I've previewed my pics, and they look REALLY good, but they're mostly system pics--I didn't get many "candid" shots and for that I'm VERY sorry...Hopefully I can get them posted in the next day or so, but probably won't get to it tonight--I've got to unpack the truck and re-assemble my rig, and then I'm probably going to have to spend a few hours trying to calm down my sweety because I cam back from CarverFest with more gear than I took. (I bought those small Martin Logan Scenerios from a guy on the ML forum on the way to CarverFest in Charlotte NC...)



Anyway, I had a GREAT time and really enjoyed meeting everyone face-to-face.

My only regret of the whole weekend is that no matter how hard MaddMaxxx and I tried, we couldn't get Magnarider to let us put some of our White Zombie Audio cables on his beautiful Lightstar rig. We both think it would have sounded great, but he seems to think that, well, as he put is, "Lightstar doesn't care" about cables...

However, we DID convince Maganrider to take a trip on the unofficial CarverFest thrill ride--the Walking Subwoofer:



Anyway, I'll post a review soon. After I unpack and eat some dinner.

Man, that "Tower of Amazing Power" was an awesome sight (and sound!) to behold...
